DAVINCI GOURMET FLAVOR SYRUPS

The worldwide brand of beverage flavor syrups for coffeehouses and at-home baristas was in need of some structure with monthly B2C newsletter emails. My role was to manage the strategy, craft headlines and copy, and curate the editorial calendar—including inventory-based and seasonal offers, recipes, blog post content and social giveaways.

Email strategy highlights:

  • Managed 48,000 subscriber list 
  • A/B tested buttons, colors, photography, content blocks, messaging and more
  • Redesigned email template to match a website redesign
  • Reworked content hierarchy, leading with the offer to lifestyle articles and blogs
  • Experimented with segmenting B2B and B2C lists based Salesforce data

  • Increased per-email direct ecommerce conversions (revenue) over 500% with 24/48-hour randomized flash offers
  • Increased YOY direct conversions (revenue) by 54%
  • Q3 2015 sales exceeded full-year sales for 2014

Pine Mountain Firelogs

The starter log and seasonal firelog brand was looking to reinvigorate a dormant email list of 30,000 subscribers, sourced and consolidated from a number of old lists. The strategy included an incentivized re-opt-in email to surprise and delight old friends and thank them for their continued support, all while ensuring the brand kept a healthy list within industry standards. The promotion netted an unheard of 60% opt-in rate with 8% in-store coupon redemption.

Lost Pines Art Bazaar

The family-owned brick-and-mortar mainstreet Bastrop Persian rug and home decor shop needed a new way to showcase its roots and reach its closest advocates.

In tandem with a website redesign—including a new ecommerce platform—a new customizable email template allowed the two sisters to fully track conversions and showcase seasonal offers, new product lines, carefully curated blog posts, and in-store events, all with a look and feel that matched their brand and personalities.

Industrial agricultural sprayer valves are this brand's bread and butter. The family-owned company's B2B sales strategy is spearheaded by the owner and president—and she needed a more efficient way to follow up on sales meetings with OEM engineers in a trackable, digital format.
